John 13:21-33

While at supper with his disciples, Jesus was troubled in spirit and declared, ‘I tell you most solemnly, one of you will betray me.’

Have you ever been betrayed? Has someone ever hated your guts that they wanted to destroy your whole life? Most people who suffer this curse are blindsided by it. We wake up one day and wonder why we did not see it at all. But imagine seeing it all along and keeping your calm.

Today we meet a Jesus who sits down and has a meal with his betrayer. This person will not change who Jesus is at his core. This brethren takes a lot of spiritual stamina.

Let us pray this day for all those who have been turned into someone they don’t like because of betrayal. I pray you find your way back to your beautiful spiritual soul. Who said Christianity or spirituality is for the weak?
