Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary; of her was born Jesus who is called Christ

If you want to experience the spirit of St Joseph, you should visit the small little church in Raywick, Kentucky. It is not really small but this church was closed down by the archdiocese many years ago but it refused to close. I mean it has very quietly stayed alive and kept the community engaged. The Spirit of St Joseph is alive in the people of this beautiful village and without much support from the archdiocese they have kept the church alive. For what is church but an engaged community that believes in Christ.

Today I invite you to look for the quiet supporters in your life. People who work to the bone but always want to stay in the shadows. Thank you for being like St Joseph. Thank you for your quiet support.
